These CUSHIONAIRE Mars Slide Sandals fall into the rather peculiar category of shoes that are purchased for quick errands and then gradually evolve into being worn everywhere except situations requiring formal social responsibility.The first impression is fairly obvious. They are sleek and minimalist, with brown faux leather finish attempting to present itself as something more sophisticated than just a regular slide shoe. They do alright at achieving their goal from the distance, especially when you want to achieve that effortless chicness where you do not expect to get any questions regarding your outfit.But the point of this shoe is comfort. The footbed is contoured and offers arch support, which becomes evident the moment you start wearing them. In an unassuming manner. And while the EVA sole keeps everything lightweight and nimble, it is comfortable enough to absorb impact and not make walking on hard surfaces such a painful experience.The ability to adjust via double buckles is something worth noting. It gives you control to ensure the fit and makes sure you are not dealing with an all-or-nothing slide mechanism where the footwear can either be too tight or try to escape your foot. They are secure once fitted and will not need any further adjustment during wearing time.Clearly, these sandals are meant for warmer weather. Easily put on, easily taken off, and perfect for your summer days in a pool, quick shopping trips or simply spending your day out, when you do not wish to go with regular footwear. These sandals are really good quality, and they look expensive.We also have birkens that are very much similar in design and material.The size is true, and you can always adjust it slightly with the buckles.The sole is also almost the same.They are comfortable and good for everyday use. You can wear it casually but it can also look okay with semi formal stuff.

These are really nice and comfy sandals with padding over some common pressure points at the heel and balls of your feet. The straps and buckles feel a little thin to me though - I would have like to see a thicker and more durable top. The other thing to be aware of is that there isn't any real arch support. If you have flat feet or need Orthotics, these are unlikely to be suitable for you. See the attached pic where you can see the padded heel and lack of arch support.But nitpicks aside, these seem to be well made and they feel pretty good. My one gripe is that Cushionaire is a newer brand that doesn't have the same recognition or trust that more established brands to - as such, I think they need to discount the product a little more. Compared to more established brands, I find they're a tad pricey. But so far, the quality justifies it. We'll see how well they hold up over time!

The CUSHIONAIRE Mars Slide Sandals for Men was a bit awkward at first but when I worked it in a bit it became a lot more comfortable. I have a slightly wide foot so it took a bit of adjusting to get the fit right. Sizing was as expected for a standard american sizing.Pros:- Lots of adjustments possible on both straps for a wide range of arches- Comfortable cushioning out of the gate- Quality seems on par with other brands I've tried- Looks greatCons- My foot slid off a bit when walking until I started to work in a groove firstAll in all - these are pretty comparable to a well known sandal brand I normally wear in terms of quality, style, fit and price positioning. I'd definitely recommend.

These sandals are good looking and comfortable.They have a suede sole that is nice and soft.The EVA outsole is pretty great. It's like a mix between plastic and rubber. It is water resistant, shock absorbent, flexible, and provides some cushion.The straps are made of faux leather so they likely won't stretch out or be "worn in" like real leather. I like that there are two straps for a more custom fit. But since the straps are tapered, they are too wide to fit through the metal buckle near the last hole. So I'm unable to tighten it to the last hole.They fit true to size.They are easy and comfortable to walk in and are a great choice for everyday, all day wear during sandal weather seasons.

So this is definitely one of those “try and see” purchases where you may need to keep or return based on fit.That said, the overall quality is very good. The materials feel durable, the footbed has solid arch support, and the slides seem like they would last a long time with regular use. For that reason, I’d suggest grabbing them on sale if you’re considering them.Unfortunately, they just didn’t work for my dad’s foot shape, but for someone with a narrower or more standard fit, they might be perfect.Rating: 4/5

Love these sandals. They are very comfortable and very well made. They run on the smaller size, so if you are a half size, GO UP! I typically wear a 10.5, so ordered the 11. They JUST fit. I definitely would not have been able to wear a 10.

The sandals arrived in a nice cardboard box, but what surprised me most was the strong plastic smell. While this is common for these types of shoes, the smell usually dissipates after a few days. But in this case, the scent still lingered much stronger and longer than expected.The insole offers good padding. It is soft and cushiony in the middle, with an extra thick section at the heel. It was comfortable to step on. The edges have a lip meant to keep the feet in place. That part is a bit harder, and could be irritating to the back of the feet.The top straps come with a soft fabric lining against the feet. It creates a gentle edge against the skin so that it doesn't cut or dig while walking.These sandals are probably half a size larger than preferred, but the adjustable straps help to tighten and keep the foot down. One issue though is that it ended up pushing my feet towards the back of the sandal, where my heel rested on that hard edge. I keep trying to push my feet further in to get off that lip, which is not ideal. Perhaps that half size would make for a really big difference.Overall though I am happy with these sandals. It looks good, and is made with high quality materials. The main negative is the smell. The fumes are just too intense and surely not healthy to inhale.Four stars.

These look just like my much more expensive Birkenstocks, at a fraction of the price. They are comfortable with an orthopaedic foodbed that feels comfortable to walk on. The straps are well made with a faux-leather material that looks good and feels high quality. They come packaged in a proper shoe box, making them feel like a brand name product. Excellent sandals for summer time with a bit of a dressy look to them. Love the brown on beige color.

I picked up these slide sandals for my son for the summer! I am not entirely sure what size his feet are currently, but I figured they were bigger than size 11 so I ordered him a size 12 and they fit him really well. They have comfortable cushioned soles and adjustable straps that can be adjusted to fit even a wide foot. He really likes how they feel on his feet and he’s gonna get a lot of use of them this summer. The Fitbit is genuine, leather, but the upper straps are a synthetic leather. But even though they are not genuine, leather, they are very soft and don’t cut into the skin. I am very impressed with this brand, I have other shoes and sandals from this company and they come very close to popular brand name slip on sandals. I would even say they are more comfortable because of the cushion foot bed. I highly recommend them and I am very happy with my purchase!
